Two police officers were killed in a high-speed chase on Sunday as they stopped their unmarked police car at a ditch in rural Florida.
The chase started as a chase through a field and ends in Tampa after police say a car crashed into a온카지노n overpass and two patrol cars were burned out.
At one point, police fired a round that struck a parked car but did not kill any people.
Police said in a tweet that they do not consider this to be a race-related incident.
The Florida Highway Patrol said in a tweet that the high-speed pursuit ended when a white Dodge Ram truck struck the police car.
The chase was ended when two officers from the Florida Highway Patrol’s North Tampa unit responded to the crash.
A dashcam video showed a man holding an 8-inch knife as he chased police for more than eight miles before he was eventually put in custody by responding North Tampa officers.
The officer fired two rounds at the suspect, who hit the officer in his chest, a video show.

Witnesses described the incident as ‘crazy’.
‘Police got out. He just pulled out, the officer fell down. I don’t know where he is now,’ said another witness.
The chase ended in Tampa, about 20 miles south of Orlando, where the man was put in custody by responding North Tampa officers.
An injured officer was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he remained on life support on Saturday night, police said.
‘I think it’s a matter of pride to be out here and to fight for someone’s rights,’ said a local man who requested his name not be used. ‘It doesn’t hurt people, it doesn’t hurt police officers’
